This collaboration has really shown what strength and depth there is in the video games blogging community, as well as highlighting the positive influences that games have on our lives – something which often isn’t understood outside of the gaming community. Enjoy!
Guitar Hero taught me that I can do it, that I don’t have to fear failure. It wasn’t a magic potion but it was a crutch through hard times, and both inspiration and distraction when I believed I was worthless.
I have recently had the pleasure of taking part in a fantastic collaboration – Hyrule: See the Sights! Hear the Sounds! Matthew & Nikki from Normal Happenings decided that it would be awesome to create a kind of Zelda guide-book, looking in-depth at some of the amazing locations from the Zelda series and my goodness were they right! Well, that’s it. The Final Catwalks have been walked, the judges have been impressed (and occasionally unimpressed) by the level of FASHION on show. After an arduous and nerve wracking deliberation process, the judges have spoken. So let’s find out who is the stylishest of them all!
The catwalk is shrouded in darkness. Whispers can be heard all around. Individual spotlights light up in a flash and are gone again. They reveal the anticipation in the crowd. Their faces brimming with excitement. A second passes before the stage is illuminated and the crowds excitement overflows and cheers and whoops fill the room.
